Before this property became a place for weddings, it was already a place where memories were made, promises were kept, and love was celebrated year after year.

At Fantastic Resort & Venues, we believe the most meaningful celebrations are the ones that honor the past while creating something new.
Before this property became a West Columbia Texas wedding venue, it was a place where memories were made, promises were kept, and love was celebrated year after year.
One of the most special stories we inherited is found at the southwest corner of our 166-acre property, where two waterways come together.
Where Two Become One
Our property is naturally bordered by water. On one side runs Mound Creek, and on the other flows Cannon Gully. At the southwest tip of the property, these two bodies of water meet before continuing onward together.
The previous owner found a beautiful symbolism in that moment.
Two separate paths coming together as one before continuing into the world.
It was a reminder of marriage itself: two individuals with their own stories, families, and experiences choosing to join together and begin a new journey.
A Place With Meaning
Overlooking the point where Mound Creek and Cannon Gully become one sits a simple but meaningful gathering space.
On a high point above the water, there is a concrete slab with a stone table and benches, along with a large light and electrical outlet that remain there today.
A Tradition Built Around Love
But the space was never about the table or the lights.
It was about the moments created there.
Every year, until "death do us part," the previous owner would return to this special location with his wife for their anniversary meal.
He would transform the area into a garden-like setting, bringing in decorations, arranging lights, and using a generator to create a warm and inviting atmosphere beneath the stars.
Year after year, they returned to the same place to celebrate the same promise.
A promise that started with two people and grew into a lifetime of memories.
